Descripción del trabajoMinimum 2 years of experience in folding carton / structural packaging design. Proficient in ArtiosCAD or Cimex CAD Design. Strong understanding of packaging materials, die-cutting, gluing, and finishing processes. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to interpret client needs and translate them into packaging solutions. Experience with various folding styles (e.g., tuck-end, crash bottom, lock bottom, sleeve, etc.). Excellent communication and teamwork skills Work full-time from 9 AM - 5 PM EST. (9pm to 5am PH Time) Work from home Salary USD 700 Monthly
RemoteVA is looking for a Packaging / Carton Designer with hands-on experience in structural design for folding cartons (chipboard boxes). This role is perfect for someone who thrives on precision, creativity, and technical expertise in packaging design.
As a key part of our creative team, you will be responsible for designing packaging that is functional, brand-appropriate, and cost-efficient. Your work will be pivotal in helping our clients bring their products to market safely and stylishly.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop folding carton structures to fit specific product dimensions and client requirements.
- Create dielines and 3D prototypes using ArtiosCAD or Cimex CAD Design.
- Collaborate with clients and production teams to ensure accurate specs and production readiness.
- Recommend box styles and materials based on product protection, cost-efficiency, and branding.
- Maintain organized project files and version control.
- Optimize structural design for manufacturability and assembly.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and materials.
