We are seeking a technician to join our team. This is a senior-level technical role requiring a highly experienced professional who can handle escalated tickets, manage Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, implement security tools, and execute compliance-related projects with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate is proactive and confident in client-facing roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage escalated Tier 2–3 tickets.
- Perform Microsoft 365 and security configuration work.
- Execute compliance-related remediation and project tasks.
- Onboard / offboard client devices.
- Lead or assist with migration and rollout projects.
- Maintain and update documentation in ITGlue.
- Help organize and automate compliance processes and controls.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience with :Active Directory to Azure / Exchange migrations.AD / Azure hybrid environments.Advanced networking.Virtualization.EDR / MDR / XDR deployments.Compliance-as-a-Service (CaaS) tasks.Technical Requirements
Networking :Strong knowledge of TCP / IP, VLANs, routing / switching, VPNs, firewalls, and WAN technologies.Virtualization & Cloud :Proficiency with VMware ESXi / vSphere or Hyper-V, and Microsoft Azure (design, deployment, and maintenance).Security :Hands-on experience with EDR / MDR / XDR platforms.Email security configuration (phishing protection, spam filtering, DKIM / DMARC / SPF).Microsoft 365 Ecosystem :Exchange Online, SharePoint / OneDrive, Azure AD, Intune, Conditional Access, MFA, and DLP.Experience with Autopilot and device onboarding preferred.Scripting & Automation :Proficient in PowerShell.Capable of using AI tools for task automation, script generation, and idea organization.Nice to Have
Experience with :
Heimdal, Blackpoint, or similar cybersecurity platforms.Compliance frameworks (HIPAA, CIS Controls, Cyber Insurance).ITGlue documentation platform.Atera or other RMM tools.Schedule : Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM (CST)
