Senior Software Test Engineer (Remote - Latam)

As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions across cloud and desktop environments. You will design, develop, and execute both manual and automated tests, contributing to robust software delivery processes. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help define testing strategies, improve test automation frameworks, and provide actionable insights to optimize code and system performance. This role offers the opportunity to lead quality initiatives, mentor team members, and influence the evolution of testing practices in a collaborative and innovative environment. Accountabilities

Your key responsibilities will include :

• Evaluate acceptance criteria, determine test approaches, and execute manual and automated tests.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks for APIs and UI applications using tools like Selenium and Playwright.
• Define and implement test automation strategies, test data management processes, and best practices for quality assurance.
• Monitor and report metrics on test coverage, business processes, and code quality to stakeholders.
• Conduct performance testing and provide recommendations to optimize system performance using tools such as JMeter.
• Mentor and guide other team members on testing best practices and quality standards.
• Recommend improvements to testing processes, technology, and interfaces to reduce technical debt and enhance efficiency.
